Her latest ‘do? A 70s Pam Grier inspired afro.
The 21-year-old actress donned a close cropped stretched ‘fro to last night’s InStyle Awards and looked absolutely stunning. Styled by Law Roach for this year’s awards, (she was honored with the Style Star of the Year) Zendaya wore a gorgeous red ombre Schiaparelli Fall 2017 Couture dress.
Our hearts leapt with excitement as soon as we caught a glimpse of her hair choice for the evening. It’s not every day you see a celebrity strutting down the red carpet with a natural hairstyle that carries such political and personal significance for Black women.
Of course the starlet is no stranger to switching up her hair. From faux locs, to a pixie cut Zendaya continues to show just how versatile and beautiful our natural hair is!
