Street Style: Atlanta Curlfriends

Atlanta is on its way to becoming the Southern capital of the natural hair revolution. For Jeannell Darden, creator of Coco Curls Natural Hair Care, hosting the Spring Trends natural hair event was a way to share valuable information with women in Atlanta and neighboring cities who are currently natural or thinking about transitioning.

“I hosted this event to address common misconceptions about natural hair and keeping it healthy,” said Darden. “The live teaching demos and panels from style bloggers Oh Nikka & Kerrie Virtuous One contributed to the success of the event. Everyone learned a lot.”
