For a slew of Black women around the world, Sundays are wash day, and even for tennis champion Serena Williams. It’s the one day of the week where we carve out time from of our busy schedules to give our tresses TLC. Williams, who wears many hats including that of a fashion designer, mother, business investor, and world-class athlete, took a break from her duties yesterday to wash, and detangle her wigs.
The process of cleaning and styling hair is a job within itself, but as it turns out, it can be fun and easy when you have help. Or at least that’s what it seems like after watching Williams, and her husband, Alexis Ohanian tag-team the task on Sunday.
