ESSENCE Festival alums Gary Clark Jr. and Alice Smith meander down a bluesy path on Clark’s latest single, “Please Come Home.”
The laid back track is a remake of the Grammy-winning song originally recorded by Clark for his debut album, Blak and Blu, in 2012. The remixed version, featuring Smith’s powerhouse vocals, will appear on Clark’s new EP, Blak & Blu: The Mixtape (out April 30), which is being presented by DJ D-Nice.
