My hair is… natural.
I started my hair journey… during the spring of 2009. I transition for approximately 3 months and then did the big chop.
My current hair regimen includes… Visiting Shy Watters Hair Studio every two weeks to get my hair shampooed, conditioned and straight using the silk press technique. To maintain my style, I religiously pin curl my hair at night and avoid, very hot showers, humidity and rain, like its the plague!
My favorite hair products include… When I wore my hair curly I used Shea Moisture’s curl enhancing smoothie, deep treatment masque and Eco Styling Gel for braid outs. When wearing my mini-twists, I only used Carol’s Daughter’s healthy hair butter.
The secret to having healthy hair is… Wearing styles and using products that work best for your texture and drinking lots of water!
My biggest hair challenge is… Committing to one style for an extended period of time—we all want to rock the next popular style.
I love my hair because…It’s very versatile.
My hair crush is…Myself! Self love is the best love.
