Actress Marsai Martin, who plays the hilarious Diane Johnson on the hit ABC show Black-ish, may just be one of the funniest kids on the block. In addition to making us laugh from week to week, she’s a budding fashion and beauty icon (she’s been our hair crush for a while now).
While she’s mostly been wearing protective styles as of late in the form of box braids, like most of us in the summertime, she recently debuted a glorious afro and we’re obsessed.
On the set of her forthcoming movie Little the teenage star rocked this glorious gravity-defying ‘do. While we’re unsure sure if the new hairstyle is part of her role in the film or just a switch-up for the actress, it doesn’t matter because we’re loving it.
The style hit peak ‘fro goals in a recent picture she shared with Issa Rae. Not only is it incredibly full but her hair looks super healthy and gives us all kinds of envy.
