Without music, I'm not complete. [MUSIC] I was two, two years old, I swear. And I remember singing with my granny, a pretty old little white lady. And she was playing Chopsticks, you know [SOUND] And she sand and she said that [MUSIC] she stayed on her note and I stayed on my note. And we were harmonizing at two. I was two years old harmonizing. I remember five, it was when I was singing my first real solo at church and the song was called beautiful. And I'll never forget that was the night that I received the holy ghost. [MUSIC] I got saved that night. And I'll never forget that for the rest of my life. At the end of the day the girl that people don't see is someone who really has a passion for God. Love is like the biggest thing like if you ever read the Bible all he talks about is love. Like love is like wonderful so I'm like hey They got rated R movies. They got this and that and whatever PG 13. Hey, rated love album. I love Gumbo and I look at my music like Gumbo. Because my bloodline is like I'm biracial. So there's all kinds of stuff in me. I got, my mother's white, my dad is Indian and black. And there's all kinds of stuff in there. And so when I sing, I just sing from my heart and. And for some reason, when I sing from my heart it is literally a little bit of everything. I love Mariah Carey, she's mixed like me, and the same type of things that she went through, I went through a lot of the same things. Her and Shania Twain, when I tell you those two have got an So much, I don't think you understand. What's your favorite Shania song? Well I'll tell you mine, [MUSIC]. You want another one? [MUSIC] I can go on all day [LAUGH]. You know how some people are like Sing that song! And some people were like, I don't know. Me, just like Keke sing a song! I'm like, okay. I just love singing just like breathing for me. I think people get stuck with that whole thought of Keke and Avant, Avant and Keke. Like that's the Keke Wyatt and Avant sound. Lie under you and all the stuff I'm doing now is the kicky sound. The song that I wrote that changed my life, I'd have to say is Lie Under You. I remember the first time I performed in front of a stadium of people and I was not expecting them to know the song, and I was so afraid because when I first wrote the song, I was in the booth and I was crying and I was thinking about my hometown, thinking about my family and And it's like thinking about the love of my life. And it was just like I don't think people will understand. And the fact that they did and they sing the song, word for word, it was amazing for me. [MUSIC]
