“Sometimes for deep conditioning, I drench my scalp and hair with pure olive oil a couple of hours before washing and conditioning,” says Goapale, who was adorable with pigtails in 2005.
“I big chopped my hair, but I’ve had many style transitions over the years,” she says, seen here rocking a luscious pony. “You have to be creative when you’re growing your hair back!”
According the singer, she keeps her tresses healthy by “wrapping my hair when I sleep, preferably with a silk or satin scarf.”
“I find my braids are a lot smoother when my hair is first blow dried,” she reveals.
“It’s important to give your hair and scalp a break every now and then,” she says. “An easy, stress-free hairdo is two-strand twists.”

“My hair takes me out of the box right away, and musically speaking I’m fine with that,” says Goapele. “But we have to remember it’s just hair, after all.”
