Hair Street Style: #SmartBrownGirls

The #SmartBrownGirl collective invited women to sip and chat in Brooklyn on October 4th for a panel discussion. Hosted by blogger Jouelzy, the panel was made up of fab Black women Jovian Zayne, Kimberly Foster, Zoe Zeigler and Janell Hazelwood. The event was a close discussion on "Vulnerability and the Strong Black Woman Archetype" that drew in women of all ages and background to participate. The #SBGBK2014 event was sponsored by Natural Girls Rock to help promote self-confidence and collective support for Black women; take a look at our favorite hair 'dos.
