One of the most popular ways for naturalistas to give their hair a break is by wearing curly extensions. Curly weaves can be just as versatile as natural hair, but the catch 22 is that they can sometimes be tricky to maintain. While some extensions are fine with a “wet-and-go” approach, you also have to consider proper nighttime care (will the hair flatten when you sleep?), product usage (gooey curls are gross, right?) and matching your exact curl pattern to your weave.
