“The look is inspired by the classic French woman,” says her hairstylist Caprice Green. “The secret to this look is hairpins—you’ll need at least one hundred!”
Products used: Rene Furterer Naturia Dry Shampoo and Schwarzkopf OSiS+ Session extreme hold hairspray.
“The braids remind me of a school girl,” says Green. “I wanted to keep the look young and fresh.”
Products used:
84-inch synthetic hair (any brand will suffice) and Moroccanoil Treatment Light.
“This is a classic Pompadour, but with a side French twist,” says Green. “It still sticks to who she is and what she’s about. Also, the jacket was so big we decided we had to put the hair up.”
At-home Hair Tip: “Play with your texture,” says Green. “ Let it dictates how it’s going to fall.”
“This look was a total deviation from what she normally wears,” says Green. “To be completely honest we were on such a time crunch we just putting something together and it worked!”
