Queen & Slim, the highly anticipated film written by Lena Waithe, premiered Thursday night at the 2019 AFI Fest, and celebrities brought their best beauty looks to the red carpet for the occasion.   

Jodie Turner-Smith, who plays the leading actress in the drama, stole the spotlight with her dynamic ‘do. The star was seen donning a bold buzz cut with face-framing finger waves that made us swoon. And not to mention, blunt bobs and fierce fabric braids were also among head-turning hairdos. However, the cools coifs weren’t the only thing that caught our eye.
