These 10 Hollywood Women Have The Loc Game On Lock

These 10 Hollywood Women Have The Loc Game On Lock
By Jennifer Ford · Updated October 23, 2020

Recently, locs have amassed a major surge in popularity. This is due in part to the super cool ways to wear them. From top-knots to undercuts, men and women of varying ethnic backgrounds are going through extremes including— rocking wigs, extensions, and even yarn to get the look.

Though, not too long ago, the natural hairstyle was frowned upon everywhere from the workplace to even the entertainment industry. Rigid beauty standards discouraged many entertainers from growing out their natural hair and fully committing to the look.

Thankfully, beauty paradigms are shifting and the large push for diversity in the across the board is helping to redefine what’s hot — including the way artist wear their hair. Ahead, take a look at the women in Hollywood who defy and redefine beauty standards with their incredible locs.
