Blondes might have been dominating for Halloween, but today is all about the ladies with the crimson locks. It’s National Redhead Day and we’re saluting all the beautiful Black celebrities who showed us how dope red hair looks on melanin-rich skin.

Some ladies went for that Ferrari red that could make Ronald McDonald and Penny Wise jealous. But the women somehow managed to pull it off. Others went for subtler versions of the hue, but still kept it interesting. And it didn’t matter if they wore it on their natural hair or opted for a unit, they owned their red hair over the years.
