There’s no way anyone could have missed Ciara’s super-sized hair at last night’s Met Gala. The Beauty Mark singer served big hair goals and left us all wanting to level up. But fair warning, if you aspire to have an extra large afro like Cici, you’re going to need plenty of bundles. To construct the voluminous hairdo, celebrity hairstylist César DeLeön Ramirêz sewed six wigs together.
“I started with six individual afro wigs which I hand sew together to make one over-the-top custom unit,” says Ramirez. To achieve the unit’s kinky curl pattern, he deconstructed curls from 4b/4c textured afros.
