Almost there, girlies, we promise! New York Fashion Week has almost come to a close, just one more day and we’re off then we’re off to London. Day 5 was an exciting day because it was Valentine’s Day. At Brandon Maxwell, they handed out heart boxes of chocolate, while Christian Cowan dedicated a section of his collection to red (the color of the season), and Head of State was a love letter to Lagos. And just like earlier in the week, the street style outside the shows was a spectacle in itself.
And in honor of Lover’s Day, many show attendees and street style stars channeled that through their dress. Red was everywhere. From Red bags (like the Saint Laurent Love Heart Chain Bag) and coats to Thom Browne plaid. Love was certainly in the air.
