Against All Odds
Will Smith earned his second Academy Award nomination for Best Actor for his role as Chris Gardner in 2006’s “The Pursuit of Happyness.” The film told the real-life story of Gardner, a struggling salesman, who takes custody of his son (Jayden Smith) as he’s poised to begin a life-changing professional endeavor.
