Remembering Charleston: Photos from the Tragedy at Mother Emanuel

On June 17, 2015, a White gunman opened fire during a bible study at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, S.C., killing nine people. Police later captured the shooter Dylann Roof in Shelby, N.C. As we remember this tragic day, we continue to pray for the victims, the church—"Mother Emanuel"—and the city.
