Gearing up for the long week of ahead, I decide to start Saturday’s shows in the evening. This time the train ride from Brooklyn took extra long —- I didn’t take into account the fact that weekend service is always slower. Twenty years later, I emerge from the subway and head to my first show of the day, Erin Fetherston.

Erin Fetherston’s presentation is uber cute! This orange cocktail number is perfect for dancing the night away! Ithas a very 1960s-esque feel to it.

Erin Fetherston has such a fun way of taking ladylike silhouettes with a retro feel and making them modern and fun for today’s girl. I am obsessing over these butterfly-printed pants! So sweet and fun!

I just had to give you the full on Erin moment in all it’s glory -— isn’t it MAJOR?! In it’s full scope the girls look like a superglam photoshoot from the 60s. Very chich and polished, yet oh-so-flirty and fun!

Time to head down to Eyebeam studios for the Christian Siriano show. Arrrgh!! What’s a girl gotta do to get a cab around here?

Whew! Finally got one. While fumbling around in my bag looking for my wallet, I come across a pleasant surprise. Lookee, lookee … now what do we have here? Snack Time! Nana would be proud — not my usual skittles diet!

At Christian Siriano I am drooling over his opening look — a high-waisted strawberry-hued skirt with train. I love his modern take on eveningwear, paired with a striped top and cool shades she’s super glam, but it all seems so seems effortless!

Can you believe these are from Payless? Who knew? I really love what Christian is doing with his Payless shoe collaboration. These cutout sandals have a really sexy, yet modern look and the colors are great.

Sigh … I wanna be this girl! Uhhh. Without all the boobage though. In real life a nude camisole worn underneath would be just the thing needed to keep this look from going streetwalker-esque. I love the romantic look of this ruffled dress — so feminine!

I never was a neon kind of girl, but it’s everywhere this season! The bold hue seems ever-so wearable for Spring 2012 because designers really provided a feminine take on the usually sporty-feel that electric hues normally evoke. I am LIVING for this pleated maxiskirt at Christian Siriano! Can we say WOW?! It really works for day or evening and I love the effortless styling with a casual tee and flowing locks.

Pajama pants never looked so chic! I love the luxe yet sporty feel of these silky chartreuse drawstring pants at Christian Siriano. Can you tell them I’m a fan of this line yet? LOL!

STOP THE PRESSES!!!! This gown + this girl = STUNNINGNESS PERSONIFIED!! I am loving this neon gown in flowing layers of silk. Again, Christian really is a master at taking eveningwear and making it modern for the young girls of today. And how perfect is this hue against beautiful brown skin!

Billowing tulle in neon hues closed out Siriano’s amazing show.

Lyn Devon’s press day at the W Hotel showed retro-inspired silhouettes like this dress with a built-in romper. Check it out on the model in one of their lookbook pics…

And in person…

I am loving Lyn Devon’s pallette for spring—great bright primary colors in classic silhouettes. How cute is this yellow top and shorts? The top has lightweight leather sleeves and leather pockets while the rest of the bodice is done in linen.

This lime green color shown at Lyn devon is popping up everywhere for Spring 2012. Fashionista’s take note—next Spring it’s all about electric hues!

I’m a sucker for a full skirt! This blush-hued number at Lyn Devon felt just like buttah baby! Buttah!

Sport-inspired cutouts are all the rage for Spring 2012 as well. This Lyn Devon dress with it’s subtle side cutouts shows a peek of skin without being to racy. Is it time to re-instate my gym membership (which I canceled after 2 years because I only went once)?

How chic are these metal accessories at Lyn Devon? I am loving these sleek cuffs and handbags. These are so modern, yet perfect for NY—these babies definitely had some weight on them, so I’m sure they can double as a weapon if need be!

And we’re off! Next stop—Milk studios to check out three collections—Gregory Parkinson, Alejandro Ingelmo and Pamela Love. One-stop shopping—I love it!

Ugggh! Darn crack! Running from my cab into Milk Studios, my Vuitton heel gets caught in the sidewalk. I almost take a nosedive for the curb, but catch myself at the last minute. Arrrgh! Well only one fall for the day so far is pretty good for me! Uh oh….my right Vuitton heel feels a bit shaky now. Hopefully it’ll hold up despite the trauma…

Gregory Parkinson presented a runway of perfect LWD’s—little white dresses! Every girl’s gotta have one for Summer. I can’t decide which one is my fave!

Alas, the shoe-nista in me has been itching al day to see Alejandro Ingelmo’s amazing shoes! I think these silver cutout platform pumps are my fave. Smokin hot!!!

Still on my shoe high, I float into Pamela Love’s jewelry presentation next door. A rockin band was getting it in!!

fw-icon-gallery

I love how Pamela Love presented her jewelry on models. Styled in western-inspired getups, Love’s jewelry piled on in layers. I am loving Love’s sleek jewelry with geometric cutouts. Such a modern look!

All done with shows! Should I make one last stop for the road? I’m in the mood to shimmy! My embellished Valentino top, Gaultier pencil skirt and Vuitton pumps want to get their dance on!

Oh no! My Vuitton heels fall victim to the electric slide!!! Time to call it a night! Thank goodness I brought my trusty ballet flats along!
