How To Organize Your Makeup in 2015

Over the years you’ve gathered a large mix of makeup products. And if you’re anything like me, sometimes they’re thrown all over my vanity, or worse, the bathroom sink. In 2015 I’m vowing to get organized by returning makeup back to its proper place. Tip #1: use a magazine rack to group stacks of palettes. Read on for more beauty tips and tricks.

Why are you holding on to 3-year old lipstick? Get rid of it! Most items have an "M" for month or "Y" for year on the back of the packaging. "6 M" means the product will last 6 months after it has been opened.

Tap into your creative side and find things around the house to create a nail polish rack. Even old picture frames are great.

Plastic containers are great for storage because you can see exactly what’s in them. Containers with colored lids are especially nice because each beauty category can have its own color. Don’t want to display them? Store the plastic boxes in drawers lined with decorative paper.
