It’s always a pleasure to meet a man with a strong mind, a kind heart and integrity, isn’t it, ladies? It’s even better when he’s 6’4" and 240 pounds of sexiness, like Minnesota Vikings tight end Visanthe Shiancoe. We can’t wait to get to know him better.

Born on June 18, 1980 Visanthe says he has the traits of a true Gemini. His mood changes depending on the hour of the day, but what’s always constant is his easy-going personality and open mind.

“My foundation is very strong,” Visanthe says — thanks to his Liberian mother who raised him to be a good guy. “She raised me to have morals and integrity, keep my word and be empathetic to people.”

Visanthe tells us his family is from the Mandingo tribe. No giggling, ladies. “It’s a real tribe,” he stresses. “They’re characterized with being tall and slender, with broad shoulders.” From the looks of things, we’d say he fits the profile.

When we caught up with Visanthe he was headed to an event for non-profit relief organization Pros For Africa. He takes pride in giving back and understands that “it’s not all about what you can do for yourself. You have to branch out and lend a helping hand.”

“The reason I strive to bring credibility to my name is so when I do a charity event, it can be more effective in all senses,” he continued. “I couldn’t see myself getting $50 million and having a credible name and not doing anything with it for anybody else.”

Visanthe appreciates a woman who really takes care of herself. “Hygiene is number one,” he says. “That tells everything about a person to me. It tells me how she handles business, how responsible she is, everything.”

In return, Shank says he takes good care of himself too. “I’m really conscious of my body,” he tells us. “I stay in the weight room all the time and I’m very health conscious when it comes to what I eat and taking my supplements and vitamins.”

Above all, Visanthe values empathy. “That’s what life is all about,” he says. “That’s how you understand people. That’s how you can really branch out and communicate with people.” We wouldn’t mind taking some time out to see where he’s coming from.

“Education is big too,” he reveals. “As long as you’re not content. Are you trying? What are you doing with yourself?”

Sorry ladies, this perfect ten is taken. He did reveal that dating in the NFL can be stressful. “There can be trust issues on both sides,” he says, “especially if the person isn’t living with you. Trust is the biggest issue.”

Don’t expect anything too elaborate on a date with Visanthe. He’d rather take it easy somewhere, “like a lounge, where we can sit down, get a cocktail and talk for a little bit — you can just hang out and be yourself in a comfortable environment.”

“I want to be the best tight end in the history of the NFL,” Visanthe shared. “I know it takes work to get there and I’m going to put in the work and let God take care of the rest.” Best of luck, baby. We’ll be rooting for you.
