The guy who says he’ll make you “think [he] invented sex,” Trey Songz, can back up his claims. Just watch any clip from one of his tour performances and you may become a believer. We can’t wait to see him take to the stage at this year’s 20th anniversary ESSENCE Festival! Are you ready?
New Orleans native Luke James is one to watch. James belts out powerhouse vocals beyond compare on his hit singles “I Want You” and “Make Love to Me.” Add a little sex appeal, and you’ve got the makings of a true star. Plus, Beyoncé’s a huge fan and you know the Queen likes to keep good company.
We’re just catching on to 25-year-old singer and producer Kevin McCall (a.k.a. K-Mac), who appeared on Chris Brown’s “Deuces,” and looking at those bedroom eyes, kissable lips and bulging biceps, we have no plans of letting go anytime soon. Like many of the other brothers of R&B today, Kevin released a new single (“Throw It Back”) and mixtape just in time for Valentine’s Day 2012.
Grammy-nominated R&B crooner Mario, who was once deemed “The Prince of R&B” has been hard at work in the studio cranking out songs for his upcoming mixtape, titles “Truth Be Told.” On Valentine’s Day he surprised his single female fans by releasing a special video message from his heart to theirs. Very thoughtful, Mario — well played.
British crooner Craig David doesn’t show up state-side very often, but when he does, we always have a good time. For instance — have you seen him shirtless? It’s worth a look! Two tickets to his next world tour, please.
Young singer Jeremih caught our attention in the summer of 2009 when he released his smash hit single “Birthday Sex,” and this year he’s provided a little smooth R&B to three hot tracks currently on Billboards Hot 100. We’re very much looking forward to his next summer celebration anthem.
Watching Tank sing and play the keyboard is pretty much as close as you can get to making love while you’re sitting at your desk, without getting fired on the spot! Those puppy dog eyes and smoochable lips give you something to daydream about when it’s all over.
(Can you tell we’re anxious to see Tank at this year’s ESSENCE Music Festival?)
