Aspiring model and actor Don James will make your Monday. He’s handsome, driven and all about a woman who’s motivated to reach her goals and build an empire. Meet our latest crush and find out why he deserves today spotlight.
“To me, the perfect date would include great food at a nice restaurant on Miami’s Ocean Ave., a quick boat ride to Cuba for drinks and then walking through pearly white sand on South Beach,” says James.
“The coolest place I’ve ever traveled is—hands down—New York City,” says James. “The atmosphere and energy there is electrifying. It’s as if you feed off the dreams and ambitions of those around you. It makes you want to drop everything and focus on being the best you can be.”
“The bravest thing I’ve ever done is pursue my dreams when everyone else is telling me to play it safe and settle,” James shares.
The 26-year-old also works as a personal trainer. Not that we could’t already tell by looking at those abs!
“Physically, I think a woman’s sexiest quality is full lips,” James shares. “Something about a pouty look drives me insane. Beyond that, I love a woman who knows who she is. It’s always sexy to see a woman who knows what she wants and is in touch with her dreams and desires. A woman can’t truly love a man unless she loves herself first.”
“I don’t have a set game plan on how to win a woman’s heart,” James shares. “Every woman has her turn-ons and turn-offs and I try to pick up on which is which. If she likes music, I’ll find out when her favorite artist is playing nearby and surprise her with tickets; or if she’s a foodie, surprise her with reservations at one of Atlanta’s top restaurants. If there was one general thing I do in every scenario, it’s to make them laugh, that comes easy to me.”
“I believe my sense of humor wins over the women I date,” says James. “I’m unapologetically me and never try to be cool or fit in. I enjoy being spontaneous and I think women respond favorably to that.”
“I am excited by a woman who’s not afraid to be herself,” says James. “Someone that’s happy-go-lucky, but is highly motivated to reach her goals. Someone I can create an empire with. A great body helps, too.”
Did we say hot chocolate? We meant steamin’ hot chocolate!
“I throw down in the kitchen,” says James. “Healthy or soul food? Take your pick. My favorite dish is chicken cooked in a reduced riesling and garlic sauce with wild mushrooms and a side of baked broccoli dusted in parmesan cheese and wild potatoes. All organic, of course.”

James tells us he’s comical, introspective and always open to learning new things.
“On a typical Friday night, I’m usually home watching Netflix,” says James. “I’ve been in serious training mode since February to audition and compete on America’s Next Top Model, so I try not to do anything that may jeopardize my workout routines. Every once in a while I can be convinced to join friends at a bar or club.”
