Practically all the guys in Wilson’s family played football at one point or another, so holding a pigskin came natural to him. Once he watched his older brother go through the college football draft he knew he was meant to follow suit and pursue victory on the field.

Wilson stopped by Eye Candy once in 2010, and says it was a “pretty cool” honor. “It was really my first time doing anything like that and taking professional pictures in front of a camera, and I can honestly say without that exposure, I might not have gotten many of the opportunities I’ve had.”

Wilson is single, but he says it’s by choice. “I’ve really invested the majority of my time to my job and service,” he admits. “It can be perceived as selfish, but that’s okay with me, because I only get one opportunity to build this dream and make sure that I maximize every opportunity that I have.” But not to worry ladies: He says he’s open to love — if it can catch him. “If It was to happen, I’m not going to fight it.”

George has a strong commitment to community service. He takes time to give back to the kids in Buffalo and in his hometown of Paducah, Kentucky. He also recently established his own youth-oriented foundation, the George Wilson S.A.F.E.T.Y. Foundation. Its mission is to "Save Adolescents From the Everyday Trials of Youth" by using life skills as a tool to educate youth on how to survive in different environments.

George says he learned to be such a great guy from his mom, who he’s proud to call his friend. “I’m close to my mom. I guess you could call me a momma’s boy,” George laughs. “I talk to my mom very frequently throughout the week.”

In terms of physical attributes, this perfect ten says his lady has got to have a nice grill and pretty feet. “I’m not a foot man, but the feet have to look nice when you wear your open toe sandals.” Other than that, he’s open to anything. “I like it all—long hair, short hair, light skin, dark skin. I don’t have a preference.”

“When I prayed for God to allow me to see my dreams come true, I would always tell him that if He continued to bless me, I would continue to be a blessing to others,” says a very humble and grounded Wilson. And, he meant it. The devoted philanthropist works tirelessly in his spare time to help “encourage the next generation.” He’s currently working with The United Way on a major mission to help cut the high school dropout rate in half by 2018.

Wilson, who’s jersey number is 37, says he really came of age after joining the Bills in 2004. “Buffalo is the city where I I matured—on the field and off the field,” he explains. “That’s where I learned the true sense of being a professional” He also learned where to get the best Buffalo wings in town—The Big Tree Inn. “It’s right by the stadium, it’s a well-known spot by a lot of the fans that attend the games. There’s a lot of tradition there and the wings are crazy.”

“I definitely do have a relationship with God. Without him, I would not be where I am today. I really can’t take any of the credit for where I am and what I’ve been able to do,” he humbly says.

“A lot of people have told me that I have an old soul,” Wilson says. Talking to him, he does seem like the romanticized strong, silent type from an old Western flick—just remixed into a modern, young, sexy prototype. Did you enjoy getting to know George? Leave him some comment love below!
