A Black Boston University professor has come under fire for tweets that some of the staff consider to be racist. Assistant Professor of Sociology Saida Grundy recently tweeted that "white masculinity is THE problem for America's colleges," that white men are a "population problem," and that she doesn't shop at white-owned businesses. Alumni threatened to pull their funding but the university stated that while they don't condone racism, they "recognize [Saida's] right to have that opinion whether or not we agree." [Clutch]
