There's been much debate in the writers' room about the use of the N-word on the hip-hop soap opera Empire. Now, Empire star Taraji P. Henson has come forward saying no way to use of the derogatory word.

"That would just piss people off," she told TMZ. Her co-star, Terrence Howard has been vocal about his desire for the word to be used on the show to increase Empire's "street cred." Where do you side? [TMZ]

After being awarded $7.4 million for copyright infringement of "Blurred Lines," Marvin Gaye's family is taking a closer listen to some of Pharrell Williams' other songs. Some menbers of the Gaye family are starting to think the summer smash "Happy" sounds a lot like Gaye's song "Ain't That Peculiar."

"I'm not going to lie. I do think they sound alike," Nona Gaye said. However, at the moment they're satisfied with their "Blurred Lnes" victory. "We're just in the moment today and we're satisfied," Janis Gaye said. [CBS News]

As President Obama's final term comes to an end, the First Family is gearing up to leave the White House and there's one special thing Michelle Obama is looking forward to do once she leaves the presidential residence.

"The one thing people don’t realize is we can’t do little things like open windows," she told Ellen Degeneres on her talk show. After her ex husband Wiz Kalifah called her a "hoe" in his latest song, Amber Rose decided to fight back against shaming women's sexuality by holding a "Slut Walk."

Ashanti is finally opening up about her former relationship with Nelly. She appeared on The Meredith Vieira Show and shared how a lack of trust caused the 10-year relationship to end.
