E'Dena Hines, the 33-year-old step-granddaughter of Morgan Freeman, died after she was stabbed early on Sunday morning. Morgan mourned Hines, the granddaughter of his first wife and an aspiring actress, who he always claimed as his own. "The world will never know her artistry and talent and how much she had to offer," Morgan said in a statement. "Her star will continue to shine bright in our hearts, thoughts and prayers." Police took a suspect into custody earlier this morning. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Hines' family. [NBC New York]

It doesn't look like there's an annulment in WNBA stars Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson's future. In June, Griner requested an annulment weeks after tying the knot with Johnson and days after the couple announced that they were expecting twins. However, a judge has denied the request, citing no legal basis for annulment. Griner said that she will pursue divorce. [The Grio]

Have you ever wondered what President Obama is jamming to in the Oval Office? Well, now you know! The White House teamed up with music streaming service Spotify to release President Obama's Summer Plyalist.
