Terrence J deserves an award. He recently donated $100,000 to his alma mater North Carolina A&T STate University as part of "Terrence J Day," a day to celebrate the journalism and mass communication department.

As part of Terrence's endowment, NBC Universal established a partnership with the university to assist future graduates with careers in entertainment.

“I am truly humbled to return to my alma mater and be in a position to give back to the same department and University that helped steer me on this incredibly rewarding career path," Terrence said. [http://madamenoire.com/528811/terrence-j-donates-100k-to-nc-at/]

People in Detroit are highly disappointed with comedian Dave Chappelle's stand-up performance last week. According to audience members, Chappelle took the stage at the Fillmore almost an hour late, told almost no jokes and instead sat on stage smoking and rambling.

Video recorded by an audience member shows someone in the crowd yelling “Let’s hear some of the act!” Chappelle responded: “Well sir, it’s a little late for that. Right now I’ve gotta get off the stage because it’s 2:00 in the morning" although the time was 1:00AM [TMZ]
