Blues legend B.B. King passed away at a Las Vegas hospital on Thursday night. He was 89. Earlier this month, King told fans that he'd been living in hospice care.
The Mississippi native recorded over 40 studio albums and won 15 Grammys. He was also inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 1980 and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. The prolific music maker continued touring until late 2014.

Could it be? Are the king and queen of hip-hop collaborating on an album? Tidal Senior Executive Vania Schlogel has hinted that Beyoncé and Jay Z plan to drop a joint album exclusively on the streaming service.
"I think it’s going to be really exciting, because the artists do feel like they have the ability to collaborate and work with each other,"she said. "I don’t think we will disappoint our fans and our subscribers."

Mariah Carey had to cancel one of her Vegas shows and her residency has barely even started. One week after her opening night, the 45-year-old singer canceled her show saying she's coming down with bronchitis.
"I've been fighting bronchitis for the past few days…almost better but on mandatory vocal rest per doctor's orders," she wrote on Instagram. "I'm so sorry to cancel tonight's show but I promise to make it up to you!" [ET Online]
