Chaka Khan works the stage in her favorite royal color – purple. She is also a spokesperson for Purple drink, an antioxidant, which she says gives her plenty of energy.

“Spiritually, [purple] is a powerful color and has a healing aspect. I’m totally into color therapy. Every color has an impact on a certain part of the brain and the color purple gives me great comfort,” she says.

Valerie Bell, mother of the late Sean Bell, joins Patti LaBelle on stage at Radio City Music Hall while she sang her hit “Two Steps.” Patti proclaimed: “We are two steps away from finding justice for Sean Bell.” The “Divas With Heart” benefit concert donated proceeds to the Masonic Research Laboratory. New York radio station 98.7 Kiss was also a co-sponsor.
