After four years of casual friendship, Natalya and Jason went on their first date. Two years later they said, “I do” in a beautiful poolside affair. Share their love.

Natalya and Jason tied the knot in a poolside ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami, Florida on December 31, 2010. Later that night they rang in the New Year surrounded by their family and friends.

Natalya chose not to wear a veil down he aisle. She styled her hair in an elegant side ponytail and added a floral accent for a touch of detail.

Natalya began looking at wedding gowns long before it was time to get hitched, thinking that she wouldn’t commit to anything for a while. But when she visited NYC’s Kleinfeld Bridal she fell in love with the first dress she tried on.

Natalya’s gown was designed by Jim Hjelm Bridal. She chose the same designer for her bridesmaids’ gowns as well.

The bride strutted down the aisle in a pair of shimmery Jimmy Choo pumps. We like your shoe game, Natalya!

Miami florist, Always Flowers, added a touch of purple to Natalya’s white tulip bridal bouquet.

Natalya’s sister and maid of honor helps the bride-to-be slip into her wedding gown.

The bride got creative, painting her toenails in the funky, non-traditional color.

All of the men in the bridal party wore Calvin Klein tuxedos. Jason stood out from the other guys with a large bow tie from Tom Ford.

Natalya really wanted Jason to wear a bow tie and suspenders on their wedding day. She was more than pleased when she walked down the aisle and saw him in his gear. “I was happy that he wanted what I wanted,” she said.

The couple hired a harpist to play softly and sweetly as Natalya walked down the aisle with her father.

“I was just so happy,” Natalya remembers of her walk toward Jason. “I wasn’t nervous. I just spent the whole walk talking to my dad. When I got to Jason I just thought he looked so handsome.”

Natalya remembers her wedding ceremony being very short. The couple read vows that were unique to them, prepared by Jason’s uncle’s pastor, and then it was on to the celebration.

“I thought she looked very beautiful and I was happy and excited to marry her,” Jason says of his new wife on their wedding day.

“As I grew older I was fine with not getting married and then this all happened at a time when I least expected it,” Natalya says.

“He makes me laugh when he’s not even trying to make me laugh and he’s such a genuine person,” Natalya says about Jason. “I really appreciate that.”

Natalya says she chose Miami’s Four Seasons for her wedding in part because she loved the art at the hotel. The couple couldn’t resist taking a few shots near one of Colombian artist Fernando Botero’s larger-than-life sculptures.

“We’re such different people,” Natalya reveals. “Jason keeps me so balanced. He’s so serious and so focused. I have more of a laid-back attitude. I make him laugh.”

Jason’s family welcomes Natalya with open arms.

Natalya’s parents and siblings are glad to call Jason son and brother.

“I know she’s a good person,” Jason says of his new wife. “She’s very giving and caring and thoughtful and honest and I think those things are very important in a woman.”

“We had candles everywhere,” Natalya says of her wedding decorations. “I loved it.”

The newlyweds chose a simple, three-tiered wedding cake design decorated with elegant orchids, created by Miami bakery We Take the Cake. Each tier was a different tasty flavor — golden, chocolate and red velvet.

The newlyweds smiled sweetly at each other as they danced their first dance to “Stay Together” by Al Green.

Following Natalya and her step-dad Walter Ebron, Jason and his mom Inez Ellis danced to Stevie Wonder’s “You Are the Sunshine of My Life.”

Jason’s mother is excited for her son to enter into marital bliss with Natalya.

Since Natalya and Jason rang in the New Year on their wedding night, the bride made sure she packed her party dress.

“I’m definitely looking forward to having a family and seeing where we end up once Jason finishes his residency,” Natalya says.
