University of Virginia alums Natalie Driver and Antwoine Womack are exact opposites. They came together and completed each other in a fun and classic wedding celebration at the Founders Inn and Spa in Virginia Beach on May 15, 2010.

Natalie went with a natural look for her wedding make-up. Her hairstyle was created by Blue Ceiling of Baltimore. She chose a bun because, “Buns are timeless. It could have been worn in 1880 or today.”

Natalie’s florist Daevid, of Daevid’s of Norfolk, suggested white calla lilies for the bridal bouquet.

“It didn’t really hit me until my best man came in the room and he was dressed. As soon as I saw him, and I saw everybody sitting down I was like, ‘Wow! This is real.’”

Natalie’s wedding gown was from Maya couture. The ruched dress hugs the bride in all the right places.

“I wasn’t nervous on my wedding day. I was so sure of Antwoine. I was very excited. I was like, ‘Oh my God! It’s all going to go down.’”

The Founders Inn and Spa in Virginia Beach was the perfect spot for Natalie and Antwoine to have their dream manor-style wedding.

Natalie has a classic sense of style. She chose black bridesmaids gowns because black is a timeless color. She let her sister-in-law choose the style of dress. The single calla lilies completed their look.

“We just found that undying love of kids,” Natalie says. “They just love so genuinely. We’re like, ‘Shucks! We need to get that back!’”

“She gives me 100 percent of her and I do my best to make her feel that way as well,” Antwoine says of feeling safe in his relationship with Natalie.

“I want to leave a legacy with Antwoine,” Natalie says. “We’re going to do something that’s deeper than what society is telling us to do.”

“When she came down the aisle, It was like I had tunnel vision,” Antwoine explains. “I couldn’t see anybody else but her. It was like we were the only ones there.”

Antwoine and Natalie read traditional vows and then read sentimental messages to each other at their ceremony.

“That was the kiss that sealed the deal,” Antwoine says of smooching his wife on their wedding day.

“When I was walking down the aisle, I thought, ‘this is ride or die,’ Natalie remembers. “‘This is my man!’”

The kids played significant roles in Natalie and Antwoine’s wedding. All the girls were flower girls and junior brides and all the boys were ring bearers or junior grooms.

“I told Antwoine, ’I’ve lived a fairy tale my whole life and then I come to you and you are my prince charming,’” Natalie remembers.

Daevid blended the wedding’s calla lilies with white hydrangeas for the reception table centerpieces.

“I’m a daddy’s girl, so I was like, ‘Listen, this does not mean that I’m not your little girl anymore,’” Natalie laughs. “I’m not leaving you. I’m right here.”

Antwoine and Natalie took ballroom dance classes at Social Graces of Winchester, Virginia so that they could wow guests with their footwork on their wedding day.

Yep, the kids were in on the ballroom dance too. Antwoine and Natalie taught the little ones their moves by pasting tape to their garage floor.

Classic all the way, Natalie and Antwoine’s cake was completely white and features calla lilies on each tier.

“I’m looking forward to enjoying every minute I can with Natalie,” Antwoine says. “As long as we’re together we’re fine.”
