Celebrity DJ couple Kiss and M.O.S. tied the knot on January 15, 2011 in a gorgeous family affair in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Kiss did her own hair and makeup on her wedding day. “I wanted to look like myself,” she says. She did however get some ideas beforehand, by visiting a friend who works for M.A.C. cosmetics.

Kiss found her Mikaella wedding gown at the first bridal boutique she visited, “[My mom said], ‘Kiss, you have to have this dress.’ [Her word] was the final thing that made me say, ‘Yes.’”

“He’s a great guy,” Kiss says of her new hubby. “I was just so comfortable with him. Everything was so easy.”

“I was not nervous until I actually got out of the limo and got to the aisle,” Kiss says.

“I was smiling when I walked into the church, but I actually did start to tear up a little bit,” M.O.S. tells us, "and I’m definitely not a crier.

“She is absolutely gorgeous,” M.O.S. says of his wife. “She’s so loyal and just has this spirit that is so bright.”

Kiss and her father Sam Taylor danced to “You Are” by Lionel Richie. “He used to play that song for my sister and I when we were little and it just reminds me of him so much,” Kiss says.

M.O.S. danced with his mother to Basia’s “Time in Tide.” “It’s my mom’s favorite song,” M.O.S. tells us. “She rarely sings, but when it comes on, she sings.”

“We wanted DJs who understood that this is a room full of Southern and Caribbean Black people with a wide age-range,” Kiss says. “It’s not just a crowd of 23-year-olds.”

Kiss raved about her wedding cake from Ambrosia Bakery in Baton Rouge. The dessert had four layers — butter cream, raspberry, Grand Marnier and chocolate.

“I really feel so blessed to have a great husband,” Kiss gushes.

“I definitely look forward to a long, loving relationship with her,” M.O.S. says.
