Kris and Carol met in church in California. They both felt like God brought them together and they tied the knot on September 20, 2009 and vowed to be each other’s spiritual soul mate forever.

Carol opted for elegantly frosted eyes and soft shimmery lips for her wedding day makeup.

Carol, who normally wears her hair in a natural style, got a lace front wig for her wedding day to make sure she stayed looking radiant despite the Southern Cali sun.

Carol and her girls had a sleepover at one of the bridesmaids’ houses and then got all dolled up there before heading to the wedding location.

The new wife says although she had wedding jitters, she kept it together until she put on her wedding gown. “As soon as I wore my dress, it hit me. I just started bawling. I felt like I was in a fairy tale honestly.”

Carol went to Marilyn’s Bridal in Pasadena, California, to find her wedding dress and she doesn’t regret it.

“I felt so beautiful. I felt like a princess.”

Carol was excited to have her dad, who suffers from diabetes, walk her down the aisle.

“He had a little bit of blindness, but now he’s doing much better. So that was a great moment for me,” the bride beams.

Carol chose dark chocolate brown and burnt orange as her wedding colors. She picked orange as a nod to her African culture.

“I wanted it to be colorful, but not overstated. Orange is very common in my country, so I chose orange flowers.”

With the symbolic calabash, Kenya was definitely representing at Carol and Kris’ wedding.

The groomsmen, who coordinated with the bridesmaids with deep brown vests, included Kris’s son and Carol’s older brother.

“It was the best day of my life. I’ve never felt that way, ever,” Carol says of the day she married Kris.

Now that their hitched, Carol says the fairy tale is not over.

“The life that Kris gives me in a sense is a fairy tale,” Carol gushes. He is the type of guy that prefers to make dinner and wash the dishes too. He wants to take care of everything."

On the 20th of every month, Kris plans something special for them to do to remember their Wedding day.

“I pray to have children,” Carol says of expanding her new family. “I pray to God that I’ll live to see my grandchildren with Kris.”

Believing that their love is heaven-sent, the new husband and wife danced to Guy Sebastian’s “Angels Brought Me Here.”

After all the formalities were over, the crowd boogied down.

After their amazing wedding day. Kris and Carol’s jetted off to Maui for their honeymoon.

“It was a very beautiful place. The views were amazing. The sunsets were out of this world,” Carol sighs.

“I rely a lot on God. God put us together. We’re so different how would we ever have met?” the happy new wife giggles.
