This past weekend Serena Williams won her milestone 20th Grand Slam title and it’s just one of many wins. The tennis star breaks so many records it’s hard to keep up! Fun Fact: Serena Williams is the first woman to win three straight majors since HERSELF during her famed Serena Slam in 2002.
You don’t win 20 Grand Slam titles without practice and discipline. Serena is known to go just as hard on the practice court as she does during the big game.
When Serena was diagnosed with pulmonary embolism in 2011 it was a big blow to her health but the star chose to focus on her comeback instead of the setback. Fast forward 4 years and a nasty flu during the French Open couldn’t even stop Serena from taking home the trophy.
The Williams sisters learned their craft together and mastered it together. Serena makes it clear that her family comes first and that her bond with her sister is of utmost importance to her.
