Kandi Burruss is a Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter, RHOA star, mother, and wife.
Known by many as a member of the multi-platinum-selling recording group Xscape, she earned a Grammy in 2000, and in 2002 she became the first woman ever to win the (ASCAP) "Songwriter of the Year" Award. An entrepreneur at heart, Kandi has executive produced several TV shows and also created Kandi Koated Nights, an online talk show. In the world of philanthropy she founded a non-profit, Kandi Cares.
