2018 ESSENCE Festival performer, Miguel, took fans on a memorable trip down memory lane and back on Sunday night as he took the stage with a flawless performance to close out week 1 of Coachella.
Never one to disappoint, the R&B crooner was a non-stop one-man-show from beginning to end, as he effortlessly ran through several staples from his past and present catalog. The setlist included a colorful performance of "Adorn," which heard Miguel belt out vocals to rival the best of them.
The Grammy Award-winning musician also took the audience on a brief journey through his latest album, War & Leisure, on the Coachella stage. In one of the most talked-about moments of Sunday night's lineup, Miguel sent the massive crowd into a frenzy when he brought out Colombian singer-songwriter, Kali Uchis, to perform their duet, "Caramelo Duro," from the album.
Miguel joined a star-studded week 1 lineup that included other incredible performances from Beyonce, Eminem, and Cardi B, as well as fellow Festival performers, Daniel Caesar, H.E.R. and Kelela.
Be sure to grab your tickets to see Miguel back in action this July, as he joins over 40 more of the biggest names in music to take the 2018 ESSENCE Festival mainstage for the first time!
