Tina Campbell, “It’s Personal” on iTunes

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready…

You know Tina Campbell as one half of Mary, Mary, the Grammy-award winning Gospel group who has took the genre by storm since their first single, Shackles debuted in 2000.  You may also know her from watching her on the weekly WE TV reality show she shares with her sister Erica Campbell and their entire family.  Nevertheless, you are most likely familiar with her voice and her story, but not neccessarily her solo career.

Since her older sister and group member Erica decided to go solo a few years ago (and has been quite successful, may we add), Tina took some time off from the stage to rekindle her broken marriage to her husband, Teddy.

After fans watched Tina and Teddy rebuild their marriage after he stepped out on their marriage in season three, the youngest member of “The Mary’s” was determined to show how God brought their union back together and most importantly, gave her the strength she needed to forgive him.  As she began to share her journey of forgiveness at shows and during national interviews, we learned that music, reading the Bible and journaling brought her out of her negative place of pain.

Earlier this week, Tina released her first solo album, It’s Personal and her very first book, I Need a Day to Pray.  Both are available now on iTunes and Amazon.com.

Just in case you haven’t heard it, her first single is entitled, Destiny.  Watch her perform it live, below.
