#WellnessWednesday: Yolanda Adams Dishes Out Some Food for Thought

It’s #WellnessWednesday, and 2014 Essence Fest empowerment speaker Yolanda Adams is dishing out the truth about healthly eating.

In respond to a caller’s request for  secrets for eating delicious — but healthy — food, Adams’ shoots it straight. “Good food is healthy food.”

She continues, “Food is supposed to sustain you so you can live better, not so you can eat more. Some people eat to live, and some people live to eat. Now at 52, all of the collection of things I’ve eaten has brought me to where I am today, healthy at 52.”

She references the Daniel Plan, a healthy lifestyle regimen that includes a focus on faith, food, fitness, and friends.
