Head of State’s recent FW 23′ show “Memories of Home” was a moving presentation that celebrated designer Taofeek Abijako’s roots. Abijako sat down with ESSENCE ahead of his highly anticipated runway show, giving us an insider look into his world. His office space based in New York City was bustling with employees and interns to curate just the right ambiance for the impending show. The pressure was on, but as we now know, Abijako works well under pressure, constantly pivoting to make his ideas come to reality.
