Yesterday evening, the 2019 Emmys took over our screens and the red carpet kicked off the award-winning night. From bright colors to hues of red, the color-blocking trends were in full effect for the first of awards season. But, while pink was the color of the night, a sizeable fad lied within guest choosing two tones to lead their style aesthetic.
Celebrities like Taraji P. Henson and Susan Kelechi Watson chose pink and red to accent their look while Kerry Washington and Viola Davis decided to go with black and white. To our surprise, the 2019 Emmys red carpet was filled with color in conjunction to other years where neutral tones lead the way.
