In preparation for her Fendi capsule collection, Nicki Minaj has released a song titled “Fendi” with PnB Rock and Murda Beatz. It’s no secret that Minaj loves the luxe brand but, it wasn’t until recently that she finally announced she will be curating an entire color-blocking collection for women and men.
Known as one of the artists favorite colors, the new Fendi x Nicki Minaj collection features a bright pink to pioneer the collaboration. Monogrammed mini dresses, furry bags, and sunglasses are what’s to come from the collection based off the flood of glossy campaign picks Minaj dropped on her Instagram last week.
But, while we wait for the October 14th drop, Nicki Minaj released a song to go along with her supreme partnership. “Have you ever heard of a collection with its own theme song?,” Fendi wrote on its Instagram. “Well, Fendi did it.”
This is the first track Minaj has released since she went into retirement on social media. After a series of Tweets, the “Megatron” rapper announced that she was quitting music. “I’ve decided to retire and have my family,” Minaj wrote. Welcome back, Nicki!
