Yesterday at 5 p.m. in Paris, the New York designer Telfar Clemons, took his Spring/Summer 2020 collection to Paris Fashion Week. After initially showing in New York earlier this month, the black-owned company transitioned its revolutionary aesthetic to Europe.

Clemons created a space for a queer designer to constitute unisex threads that merge communities through fashion. Originally launching in 2005, Telfar grabbed its CFDA win in 2017 making the 12-year-run worthwhile. Their style guide lies within a simple philosophy that its, “For everyone.” Popular items include the shopping bag, cut-out joggers, and asymmetric white beaters.

Much like it’s NYFW debut, Telafar showed a preview to its film, “The World Isn’t Evening,” featuring work from Steve Lacy, Bby Mutha, and a cameo from actor Aston Sanders. The film mirrored as a runway presentation where models walked between as their face appeared on the screen.
