In a surprise announcement, sneaker brand Puma debuted its 50th Anniversary collection that pays tribute to the early days of Hip Hop, with a guest collaboration from fashion house MCM.
During the 1980’s both brands were heavily worn by hip-hop artists, models and break-dancers, and became de rigueur for the street-style movement. Fast-forward to 2018, both brands have teamed up to shine a light on an era that once celebrated their unique approach to fashion.
The new Puma x MCM collaboration will include full tracksuits (also sold separately), and a re-branding of the iconic Puma suede sneaker (price ranges are from $250.-$340.).
