While NYFW is all about runway shows and presentations, a few epic parties take place during the busy week. When all the shows come to an end, designers and brands utilize the influencers, celebrities, and fashion insiders that crowd the city.
Alexander Wang has a reputation of throwing packed-out parties that have included catered McDonald’s, nail stations, and a girl gang of supermodels. Whereas Vanity Fair throws A-List events to kick off fashion week. This year, the parties were arguably the best part of NYFW. While all the politics behind who gets invited to fashion shows can be hyped-up, the parties leverage for more invitees to attend. And honestly, calls for a much better time.
