Stylist to the stars, Jason Rembert presented his Spring/Summer 2020 collection this morning. While NYFW is winding down, industry insiders showed up bright and early to support Rembert’s brand, Aliette. ” I was raised by a black woman. I’m in love with a black woman. My daughter will one day become a black woman,” Rembert told ESSENCE. As his daughter clinched to him tight, Rembert was tearful as he reminisced on his journey. “I feel amazing. I didn’t think I would get to this point.”

“I just wanted to make a collection that will make them happy,”

Aliette’s Spring/Summer collection featured pops of red and green spearheading the collection. From puffer gowns to large bows, pieces from the collection included avant-garde moments with a sleek frame. A structured coat paired with a simple skirt or a gown with detailed cutouts wowed the crowd. “I just wanted to make a collection that will make them happy,” Rembert concluded.
