It’s only right that as Megan Thee Stallion rises to stardom she works with legendary industry insiders. The Houston rapper performed on Jimmy Kimmel this past week and didn’t forget to bring her southern charm to the Kimmel stage.
For this appearance, Megan worked with costume designer Tiff Hasbourne to make a special request. When you’re currently the hottest female rapper, who do you call? Misa Hylton, the stylist, and designer who is responsible for Lil Kim’s most iconic looks and serves as the Global Creative Partner for MCM. Western fashion is a huge trend right now and very on-brand for the “H-town hottie” so a full cowgirl look was absolutely needed for Megan’s performance – because, why not? Hylton designed MCM chaps with a matching cowboy hat for the self-proclaimed Hot Girl and paired it with a custom cropped jersey from Mitchell & Ness repping her hometown Houston, Texas.
