In celebration of Pride Month and her own sexuality, Janelle Monae attended the 2018 BET Awards in a multi-color look resembling the Pride flag.
We always have high-style expectations for the songstress, and she never fails us. She paired the full, rainbow skirt with a green bodice and structured hat. Her pride-ful look was complemented with her flawless makeup by makeup artists, Jessica Smalls for Pat McGrath Labs, that we are bound to try ourselves. Her subtle smokey eye was created with just one palette: Mothership III: Submersive Palette, along with her perfect matte lip color, MatteTrance Lipstick in Elson, pulled the look all together. Simply perfection.
Earlier this year she came out as pansexual, so this look is an excellent representation of her sexuality and her futher support of the LGBTQ community. There’s no better way to compliment who you are than with your style.
