Tap That App: Must Have Style Apps During NYFW

Check out which apps we are tapping while dashing from show to show at New York Fashion Week.

By Candace Marie Stewart · September 8, 2015October 27, 2020
01
Snapchat

The hype of Snapchat has skyrocketed through the roof and of course it is the perfect app for Fashion Week.  With a quick tap of a button you are able to capture the models strutting down the runway without missing a beat.

02
Kai Cards

Networking is a key component while out at NYFW but who has time to carry business cards anymore?  This app allows you to create and send a business card to any email address. The app is seamless so it’s easy to network while still sipping on a cocktail.

YeMoji

While fashionably strutting from show to show it’s often hard to text your friends to let them know which shows where ok, good, or great!  Well with the newly created YeMoji app you can send a quick Kanye expression to sum up your experience.

04
Instagram

Instagram is an essential for Fashion Week.  It is a simple way to capture and share Fashion Week shows, parties and events with all of your friends.

05
Fashion GPS

Talk about invite only.  GPS Radar is an invitation-only fashion industry tool that allows you to RSVP for Fashion Week shows and manage your invites in one location.  Also, shortly after the show you can view the runway as well as save images.

06
PHHOTO

This is a Beyoncé favorite and once you get the hang of it you will be addicted.  This app allows you to shoot moving pictures (GIFs) you can share with your friends. Talk about the perfect runway GIF!

07
Twitter

Besides the usual reason for Twitter, this app is perfect for keeping up with fashion news during fashion week.  You are able to stay informed and know where the hype is thanks to Twitters Feed and Trends panel.

08
InstaCollage

Creating collages couldn’t be easier with this app.  After capturing two or three looks from the runway, you are able to show all the looks seamlessly in one picture and share it on all of your social media channels.

09
Visage Lab App

Not satisfied with the selfie you took of yourself during a fashion presentation?  Not to worry! Visage Lab is the ultimate professional beauty laboratory.  The app removes pimples, whitens teeth and removes red eyes within seconds.

10
PicLab

This app is hands down a favorite of ours.  Pic lab is a hidden gem that will take your photos to the next level.  You can add beautiful typography, artwork, stunning filters and photo effects galore.  Although the app has a free version, the extra deluxe purchase is definitely worth it.

11
InstantBlend

Are you fashionably creative? This app overlaps two images easily and quickly to create double-exposure style photo-art!

PhotoCandy

For all of the creative darlings who attend shows like Betsy Johnson or dance the night away at a Jeremey Scott after party, this app has you in mind.  Photo Candy is a unique new app that allows you to add patterns on top of photos as well as mask them out to create digital art.
