New York Fashion Week is over and the last day confirmed what we have been saying all along: bright colors and bold prints are in for fall. Just about all of the dozen or so designers who closed NYFW yesterday showed elements of both.
One of our favorites was legendary African-American designer, Stephen Burrows who showed off a dizzying array of bold red and black prints. The L.A.M.B show, designed by artist, Gwen Stefani, echoed these trends with long, flowing printed dresses in graphic black and white and colorful reds and greens. Isaac Mizrahi, who turned out a fun and colorful collection, also paid homage to prints with a feminine and flirty one! Ofcourse prints are just one of several trends that we spotted during NYFW.
Check back next week for a full trend report on what you will be wearing come next fall!
